Jefferson county residents are suing after an automobile accident.
Rogelio Castaneda and Maria Ramos filed a lawsuit Oct. 23 against Sonia Riley in the District Court of Jefferson County 172nd judicial district, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on Sept. 18, the plaintiffs and the defendant were involved in a motor vehicle collision on Highway 90 in Beaumont. The plaintiffs state the defendant ran into the plaintiff's vehicle, causing multiple collisions.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages in excess of $100,000, but not more than $500,000. They are being represented in the case by attorneys Clay Dugas and Malachi Daws.
