Alleged victim in a car accident seeks more than $100K

Sheila Haliburn is suing Robert Choate Jr. following an alleged auto accident which occurred in December 2011.

According to her complaint filed in the Jefferson County District Court on Dec. 3, Haliburn was the victim of Choate's negligent driving.

Haliburn claims she was driving down the road when Choate pulled out of a private drive and struck her passenger door.

Haliburn seeks to hold Choate liable for her injuries and the costs associated therewith.

Haliburn is being represented by Christy Amuny of Bain & Barkley PC and is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.

The case has been assigned to Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court.
