Woman sues Walgreen's for minimum of $200K in damages

A Groves woman is suing Walgreen's over a fall in a store's doorway.

Rose Lynn Tibbs filed the lawsuit in the District Court of Jefferson County against Walgreen Co. and Walgreen's employee Melissa Broussard, alleging negligence.

The suit states that Tibbs was in the Walgreen's located on Twin City Highway in Groves on Aug. 13, 2013, when she fell over an unsecured rubber threshold, causing injuries.

Tibbs is seeking in excess of $200,000 in damages.

She is represented by David P. Wilson of Provost & Umphrey Law Firm LLP.
