Business sues over vehicles damaged in chain reaction crash

A League City businessman is suing a driver and the owner of a vehicle for damages to both his tow truck and the vehicle he was hauling.

Clean Tile and More Inc. filed a lawsuit Jan. 28 in the Galveston County Court against Ricky A. Stiegelmier and Anthony Siek III alleging negligence. 

The lawsuit states a driver of Clean Tile and More was in a tow truck stopped in traffic at 3800 West Main St., League City, when Siek collided into the towed vehicle.

The towed vehicle struck the truck, which struck a vehicle in front of the truck, the complaint states. Siek was driving a vehicle owned by Stiegelmier, the complaint states.

The lawsuit alleges Siek was speeding and driving without a valid license.

Clean Tile and More is seeking $39,525.23 in damages.
