Two Port Arthur residents are suing after sustaining injuries in a car crash.
Kevin D. Nguyen and Danny Nguyen filed a lawsuit Jan. 27 in the Jefferson County District Court against T.D. Williamson Inc. and Robert Ferguson, citing respondeat superior, negligence and negligence per se.
The complaint states on Feb. 2, 2012, Kevin D. Nguyen was driving at the intersection of U.S. Highway 69 and FM 365 in Port Arthur when Ferguson allegedly struck the rear and left side of the plaintiff's vehicle.
At the time of the accident, Danny Nguyen was a passenger in the plaintiff's vehicle and Ferguson was acting within the scope of his employment with T.D. Williamson, according to the complaint.
The plaintiffs allege the defendant's negligence caused their damages and injuries.
Kevin D. Nguyen and Danny Nguyen are seeking more than $500,000 in damages.
