A bank is filing an application to foreclose on a Groves home.
Wells Fargo Bank NA filed an Order of Foreclosure concerning 3028 Elm Ave., Groves, on Jan. 27 in the Jefferson County District Court.
The court filing states on Aug. 15, 2008, Joseph R. Denzlinger and Barbara Denzlinger executed a promissory note.
Wells Fargo contends on Nov. 1, 2012, the Denzlingers failed to remit payment and since May 2013 there are at least nine unpaid scheduled payments.
The amount required to cure the default before Jan. 8, 2014, was $7,181.55 and the amount required to pay the loan in full before Jan. 8, 2014, was $58,174.29, according to the court filing.
Wells Fargo is seeking court authorization to foreclose on the Denzlinger's property.
The petitioner is being represented in the case by attorney Lauren Christoffel of Barrett, Daffin, Frappier, Turner &, Engel LLP in Dallas.
