Mom allegedly gave son alcohol, allowed assault to happen

A League City woman faces suit after she allegedly served alcohol to minors and failed to supervise them, which the plaintiff claims resulted in a sexual assault.

Dewayne Mundell, as next friend of XXXXX, a minor, filed a lawsuit Feb. 5 in the Galveston County District Court against Linda Ardrey and XXXXX. 

According to the complaint, Ardrey served alcohol to four minors, including her son, and then failed to supervise her son who then allegedly sexually assaulted the minor plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking damages for past and future medical expenses, past and future physical pain and mental anguish, past and future physical impairment, punitive damages, interest and costs.

The plaintiff is being represented in the case by W. Mark Lanier of Lanier Law Firm PC.
