A railroad employee is suing after he injured his shoulder while on a company work site.
Danny Ray Taylor filed suit Feb. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Texarkana Division against Union Pacific Railroad Co., citing negligence and gross negligence.
According to the complaint, in March 2012, Taylor was working for Union Pacific when he hurt his shoulder while performing his job duties.The complaint states Taylor was hurt when his arm was caught on a claw bar on the job site.
Taylor alleges the defendant was negligent in failing to correct the dangerous condition or warn him of the danger.
Taylor is seeking damages in excess of $1 million.
He is being represented by attorney Majd M. Ghanayem of The Burnett Law Firm PLLC in Abilene.
