A woman is suing claiming she was injured in a car crash.
Mayra Rocha filed a lawsuit Feb. 19 in the Jefferson County District Court against Claret Zarraga, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on Aug. 22, 2012, Rocha was driving on 2400 Gulway Drive, S. Highway 87, Port Arthur.
The complaint states at the same time the defendant was driving southbound in the 1600 block of DeQueen Boulevard when she failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Rocha's vehicle, causing injuries.
Rocha is seeking damages between $100,000 and $200,000.
She is being represented by Clint Brasher and Joe Muckleroy.
