Company sues over unpaid bill for installation

A company that installs industrial items is suing a company because it has not fully paid its bill. 



Advantage Industrial Systems Inc., a fabricating and installation company, filed a lawsuit March 12 in the Jefferson County District Court against German Pellets Texas LLC and Texas Pellets Inc., citing breach of agreement.

The defendants make wooden pellets that are used in Europe in the generation of electricity.

The lawsuit states Advantage entered into a contract with German Pellets on Sept. 20, 2012, to installequipment including conveyors and elevators at a cost of $1,075,000.

German Pellets was supposed to pay within 30 days of the invoice date, but has not paid $307,685 due, the complaint claims.

Advantage Industrial is seeking damages in the amount of $307,685, plus penalties, interest, pre and post judgment fees, court costs and any other relief.

It is being represented by Carl "Bo" Dawson of Ryan & Dawson in Houston.
