ZQS Corporation sued after woman injured inside Mini Mart

A Galveston County resident is suing a convenience store after falling and sustaining injuries to her elbow, tailbone, back and neck.


Kimberly Brown filed a lawsuit April 2 in the Galveston County Court against ZQS Corp. Inc., citing negligence. 

The complaint states Brown was injured Sept. 5, while inside the defendant's Mini Mart at 2311 25th Ave. N., Texas City. The plaintiff states she sustained serious injuries after she slipped on oil or another slippery substance.

Brown is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.

She is being represented in the case by Thomas M. Dewitt of Dewitt Law Firm.
