Car crash rearend

A Harris County woman is suing over claims she was injured, along with her young daughter, during a car accident.

Elia Argueta, individually and as parent of Ashley Argueta, filed suit April 2 in the Jefferson County District Court against Miryam Ledezma, citing negligence.

Argueta claims Ledezma was not driving safely while traveling southbound on Wayside Drive in Houston, causing a car accident with Argueta and her daughter on April 28, 2012.

According to the brief, Ledezma was trying to make an illegal left turn, causing the accident with Argueta. The suit alleges as a result of the accident Elia and Ashley Argueta suffered serious injuries.

Argueta is seeking damages in an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court, interest, court costs and all other relief the court deems proper.

She is being represented in the case by Houston attorneys Cristobal M. Galindo, Jordan A. Glaze and Joshua Cole Garrett.
