Texas driver sued after collision on Palmer Highway

A Galveston County woman is suing over claims she was injured in a collision on Palmer Highway.


Erica Hicks filed a lawsuit April 10 in the Galveston County Court against Elwood M. Davlin Jr., citing negligence.

According to the complaint, Hicks was driving eastbound in the 3500 block of Palmer Highway on Sept. 12, 2012, when her vehicle was rear-ended by Davlin's vehicle, which caused injury to the plaintiff.

Hicks is seeking damages, lost wages and medical expenses.

She is being represented in the case by attorneys Scott G. Robelen and William A. Forteith of Bailey & Galyen.
