A Texas couple are suing over claims they sustained injuries after an automobile accident.
Nancy Spears and Scott Spears filed a lawsuit May 13 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Joseph M. Minix, Superior Energy Services Inc. and Brent L. Lansford, citing negligence.
The plaintiffs claim they suffered injuries when the car defendant Lansford was driving and the plaintiffs were riding in was struck while driving west on State Highway 87 in Galveston County on Feb. 2, 2013.
According to the suit, defendant Minix was negligently driving Superior Energy Services' vehicle, resulting in the car accident.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages, interest and court costs.
They are being represented in the case by attorneys Troy D. Chandler and Devin McNulty of Chandler McNulty LLP and J. Kirkland Sammons of Sammons and Berry P.C.
