Truck headon

A woman is suing a truck driver for injuries she sustained in a traffic collision.

Nan Gregg filed a lawsuit May 15 in the Jefferson County District Court against John Dunbar, doing business as Dunbar Trucking, citing negligence and gross negligence.

The lawsuit states Gregg was traveling south in the outside lane of FM 366 with Dunbar traveling to her side in the inside lane. Dunbar, who was driving as an employee of Dunbar Trucking, made an improper right turn and slammed into Gregg’s vehicle, the complaint alleges.

Gregg sustained injuries to her neck, back, legs, jaw and body, according to the complaint.

Gregg is seeking damages in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits, pre and post-judgment interest and court costs along with any other relief of the court.

She is represented by private attorney Cody Rees of Beaumont.
