Man suing Lowe's after alleged fall in store

A man is suing Lowe's after allegedly falling on a slippery floor.

Willing Morning filed a lawsuit against Lowe's Home Centers on Aug. 19 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas.

Morning claims he was at the Lowe's store July 1 when he slipped and fell on a substance left on the floor. He accuses the company of negligence for allegedly failing to remove the substance from the floor and failing to warn customers of the possible danger.

Morning says he was seriously injured in the fall. He is asking for more than $75,000 in damages for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, disfigurement and loss of enjoyment of life.

Attorneys M. Paul Skrabanek and Michael E. Pierce, of Houston, represent Morning. They seek a jury trial.
