Discovery is still ongoing in a suit brought by a Jefferson County man who claims he was injured in a boating accident.
Jeff Boudreaux filed a lawsuit Nov. 5 in Jefferson County District Court against Bodre Mack Rising.
The last filing in the case came May 12, a certificate of discovery showing the plaintiff had responded to the defendant’s request for disclosure, first set of interrogatories and request for production.
According to the complaint, Boudreaux was a passenger in a boat operated by Rising on Arizona's Lake Havasu on April 26, 2013, when the boat was involved in an accident that caused severe injury to Boudreaux.
Rising is accused of negligence. Boudreaux seeks more than $100,000 in damages.
He is represented by attorney B. Adam Terrell of Weller, Green, Toups and Terrell in Beaumont.
