Port Arthur woman sues Infinity Insurance, alleging breach of contract

Carcrash

A Port Arthur woman is suing Infinity Insurance, alleging it refuses to pay liable damages following an automobile accident.

Regina Harmon filed a lawsuit Aug. 10 in Jefferson County District Court against Infinity Insurance Company, alleging breach of contract.

The suit alleges Harmon's insurance company, Infinity, has refused to pay damages to Harmon after she was injured in a car accident caused by a negligible drunk driver March 12, 2011, in Port Arthur.

At the time of the accident, Harmon had an automobile insurance policy with Infinity, but the suit alleges Infinity has breached its obligation by refusing to pay Harmon's under-insured motorists insurance benefits.

Harmon seeks damages plus interest, as well as attorney fees and court costs.

She is represented by attorneys Jonathan C. Juhan and J. J. Bragg of Beaumont.

Jefferson County District Court case number 197424.
