GALVESTON -- A League City construction corporation is suing a Houston heating and air conditioning business, alleging shoddy or incomplete work the defendant was hired to perform.

Tannos Construction and Development LLC filed the lawsuit Sept. 18 in Galveston County District Court against Apollo AC and Heating Inc.

According to the complaint, Tannos hired Apollo for services on six commercial and residential construction projects. The suit says the defendant failed to show up for two weeks, installed an air conditioning system that did not work, incorrectly wired a system that resulted in motor failure and damages, and a faulty installation that resulted in water damage to a home, and other problems.

Tannos Construction seeks damages, interest, attorney fees and court costs. It also wants all waivers and releases executed by the defendant. It is represented by attorneys David E. Cowen, Amanda D. Wright and Chris C. King of McLeod, Alexander, Powel & Apffel PC in Galveston.
