Houston man sues League City man, alleging breach of contract

Contract

A Houston man is suing a League City man, alleging the defendant has not paid all installments owed under a settlement agreement.

Eddie Baghalian filed a lawsuit Sept. 23 in Galveston County District Court against Tyron Collins, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 29, 2010, Baghalian and Collins entered into a settlement agreement regarding a separate Galveston County District Court lawsuit titled Eddie Baghalian v. Tyron Collins, et al. Under the agreement, Collins agreed to pay four installments, the first due with the execution of the agreement, the second due on or before Sept. 24, 2011, the third due on or before Sept. 24, 2012, and the last due on or before Sept. 24, 2013, the suit says.

The lawsuit alleges Collins breached this contract by only paying the first installment, causing significant economic injury to the plaintiff.

Baghalian seeks a judgment for the amount still owed under the agreement, plus attorney fees and court costs. He is represented by attorney Brian M. Keller of Keller & Associates in Houston.

Galveston County District Court case number 15-cv-1022.
