BEAUMONT – A family member is suing a Port Arthur health care facility, alleging inadequate physical therapy for a 96-year-old woman.

On Oct. 18, according to the lawsuit, Esteree Bishop, 96. fell on her right side in the bathroom at Lake Arthur Place, suffering a right hip fracture and femoral neck fracture. The lawsuit alleges Lake Arthur Place’s substandard, inadequate and negligent care led to Bishop’s injuries.

David Bishop seeks a judgment within the jurisdictional limits of the court, for both pre-judgment and post-judgment interest plus costs of court and a jury trial. He is represented by attorneys Beth S. Janicek and Andrew J. Skemp of the Janicek Law Firm, PC in San Antonio.
