Employee alleges pipe servicing company violated overtime rules

Late 06

HOUSTON — An employee is suing a pipe service business, alleging it failed to pay workers overtime.

Brad Wisnoskie, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, filed a class action lawsuit April 29 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Hydril Company, doing business as Tenaris Hydril, alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act in failing to fairly compensate employees.

According to the complaint, between April 23, 2014 and Feb. 15, 2016, Wisnoskie worked more than 40 hours per week but was not paid any overtime. The plaintiff alleges Tenaris Hydril violated the FLSA in not paying the overtime premium to their employees.

Wisnoskie seeks a trial by jury, unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages equal to the unpaid wages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorneys Josef F. Buenker and Vijay A. Pattisapu of The Buenker Law Firm in Houston.
