GALVESTON — A Galveston County woman is suing his former employers, alleging failure to pay proper overtime wages.

According to the complaint, during Reynoso's employment as a cook from 2010 through April 2016, she was not properly compensated at one and one-half times her regular hourly rate for all hours worked more than 40 hours per week.

Reynoso seeks a trial by jury, the full amount of unpaid overtime wages, an equal amount of liquidated damages, attorney fees, legal costs and expenses, pre- and post-judgment interest and such other relief as allowed by law. She is represented by attorneys Mark Siurek and Patricia Haylon of Warren & Siurek LLP in Houston.
