By Philip Gonzales | Jul 28, 2016

Contract 03

GALVESTON – A Travis County man alleges property managers hired to manage his rental vacation homes did not pay him.

Ron Binkley filed a complaint on July 21 in Galveston County District Court against Dale Roger Stohlman and Gulf Leisure Resorts Inc., doing business as Century 21 Bay Reef Realty alleging fraud, negligent misrepresentation and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he entered into agreements in 2010 and 2011 with the defendants for them to act as a property manager for two of the plaintiff's rental vacation homes. The plaintiff holds Stohlman and Gulf Leisure Resorts Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly account for or remit money received on the plaintiff's behalf and failed to pay amounts due to him.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks economic damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, costs and other relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by Paul H. Jordan, Wayne E. Sanders and Kathryn W. Porter of Sneed, Vine & Perry in Georgetown.
