Navajo Fishing & Rental Tools Inc. claims it is owed more than $166,000 for equipment

Late 01

GALVESTON – An Alvin fishing tools company alleges it was not paid for equipment it supplied to a business.

Navajo Fishing & Rental Tools Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 25 in the Galveston County District Court against Promise Energy Operations LLC alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between May and August, it supplied and rented certain tools, equipment and materials to defendant at an agreed upon rate. The plaintiff holds Promise Energy Operations LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to make payments on the remaining balance.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary judgment for $166,361.83, plus pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees and costs and all other relief to which it may be entitled. He is represented by Brian D. Kennemer in Alvin.
