Randall's Food Markets Inc. shopper claims water on floor caused her to slip, fall

Slip02

HOUSTON – Stafford market shopper alleges she was injured because of water left on the floor.

Hanna Tran filed a complaint on Nov. 12 in Harris County District Court against Randall's Food Markets Inc. alleging that the store operator breached its duty to exercise reasonable care to protect its customers.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 18, she was an invitee at defendant's store in Stafford when she slipped and fell on water that was on the floor. She alleges the incident caused her to sustain injuries that resulted in pain and mental anguish and costs of medical care and treatment. The plaintiff holds Randall's Food Markets Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly created and failed to correct the dangerous condition and failed to warn her of the defective condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million, penalties, costs, expenses, pre- and post-judgment interest and all other necessary relief. She is represented by Sarah Y-Nhi Huynh of The Huynh Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
