Contract 08

GALVESTON — A Dutch corporation is suing an Alvin catering company, alleging it owes more than $300,000.

Wrist-Kooyman Ship Supply BV of Rotterdam filed a lawsuit Nov. 21 in Galveston County District Court against Cardinal Culinary Services LLC, alleging failure to perform a contractual obligation.

According to the complaint, between Oct. 10, 2013, and March 10, 2014, Wrist-Kooyman sold various goods, materials, supplies and provisions to Cardinal Culinary and delivered them aboard the plaintiff's M/V Lewek Centurion. To date, the amount of $331,033.69 remains unpaid, the suit says.

The plaintiff alleges Cardinal Culinary has failed to make payments due under the terms and conditions of the installment payment agreement.

Wrist-Kooyman Ship Supply seeks trial by jury, judgment of $331,033.69, plus interest, attorney fees and costs of court, and all other relief the law allows. It is represented by attorney Peter B. Sloss of Murphy, Rogers, Sloss, Gambel & Tompkins in New Orleans.
