GALVESTON — A Bacliff man is suing a San Leon resort operator, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.
James McCauley filed a lawsuit Dec. 9 in Galveston County District Court against Bayshore RV Resort, Corp., doing business as Bayshore RV & Mobile Home Park, alleging the defendant breached its duty to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition.
According to the complaint, on June 29, 2016, McCauley, a resident at Bayshore RV & Mobile Home Park, suffered serious, disabling and disfiguring injuries when he fell in an uncovered hole in the ground.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to warn him of the defective and dangerous condition.
McCauley seeks trial by jury, judgment for a sum within the jurisdictional limits of the court, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and all other equitable relief. He is represented by attorney Roy Camberg of The Camberg Law Firm PC in Houston.
