BEAUMONT – A daycare is being sued for negligently allowing one child to push another child.

As next of friend of Logan McCain, Trametreah Provost filed suit against Trinitis World Child Development Center on April 17 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 6, 2016, McCain, a minor, was playing during school hours at Trinitis when another child pushed her. As a result, McCain fell and suffered a right wrist fracture.

The suit accuses the defendant of breaching its duty owed to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is suing for medical expenses and the pain, impairment and mental anguish the minor suffered.

The plaintiff is represented by Scot Doyen, attorney for the Houston law firm Doyen Sebesta.

Case No. D-199908
