HOUSTON – A Washington County woman alleges she was injured at a Houston restaurant when an employee pulled out her chair for her.

Esmeralda Hernandez Harris filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the Harris County District Court against SR Grille LLC, doing business as Skinny Rita's Grille, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 15, 2016, she was dining at defendant's establishment. While attempting to seat, she alleges an employee pulled out her chair without prior notice and caused her to fall to the floor. She claims she sustained severe injuries resulting in pain, mental anguish, disfigurement, medical expenses and loss wages.

The plaintiff holds SR Grille LLC responsible because defendant alleged failed to warn persons of the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of less than $100,000 and such other relief to which she may be justly entitled. She is represented by Heriberto Ramos of Heriberto Ramos & Associates PC in Houston.
