Graniti Vicenta LLC alleges defamatory statements were posted on website Ripoff Report

HOUSTON – Porcelain and mosaic products importers allege defamatory statements were published about them on a third-party website.

Graniti Vicenta LLC, GV Facades LLC and Srinivasa Rao Katragadda filed a complaint on Nov. 9 in the Harris County District Court against Mark Ballek and John Does 1-3 alleging defamation and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs import and distribute of porcelain, granite and other products. They allege the defendants published false accusations on the Ripoff Report website in January and July.

The plaintiffs hold Ballek and John Does 1-3 responsible because the defendants allegedly posted false and malicious statements and injured plaintiffs' honesty, integrity and reputation.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek monetary relief of more than $1 million and such other relief to which they are entitled. They are represented by Andrew D. Weisblatt and Nancy C. Assel of The Weisblatt Law Firm LLC in Katy.
