HOUSTON – A patron of a bar is seeking $1 million in damages after he was injured in a single-vehicle accident.

The suit states they were patrons at the defendant's bar and that the defendant served Annecia Martinez alcohol in large quantities. The suit states because of Annecia Martinez's intoxicated state, she drove off the road and into several trees. The plaintiff alleges he suffered severe injuries as a result.
The plaintiff holds Montrose Entertainment Corp. Inc., doing business as Blur Bar, responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently sold or served alcoholic beverages to an obviously intoxicated person.
