Slip02

HOUSTON – A Harris County woman alleges she was injured when she slipped on a ramp at a Spring property.

Sylvia Eichenour filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the Galveston County District Court against Specialty Retailers Inc., A-K-S 57 NEC FM 2920-Kuykendahl LP, AZPW Maintenance Service Co. Inc. and Stage Stores Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 12, 2015, she was injured when she slipped and fell on the sidewalk ramp at the Palais Royal in Spring that was owned and/or maintained by defendants. She alleges she sustained serious injuries to her knee that required surgical procedures.

The plaintiff holds Specialty Retailers Inc., A-K-S 57 NEC FM 2920-Kuykendahl LP, AZPW Maintenance Service Co. Inc. and Stage Stores Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inspect the premises and warn patrons of the existence of a dangerous condition and failed to take necessary measures to ensure that customers would not experience any foreseeable injuries.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other lawful and equitable relief. She is represented by J. Carlos Sedillo of Griffin & Matthews in Houston.
