Woman alleges slippery substance caused fall at Landmark Industries Energy LLC

Slip01

HOUSTON – A Harris County woman is seeking damages after a fall at a Houston property.

Isabel Salem Asander filed a complaint on Dec. 19, 2017, in the Galveston County District Court against Landmark Industries Energy LLC, doing business as Timewise Food Store No. 834, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 22, 2017, she was an invitee at defendant's property when she slipped and fell in a dangerous fluid substance on the concrete. She alleges she received injuries to her head, neck and back.

The plaintiff holds Landmark Industries Energy LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition and failed to inform her that such condition existed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other relief that is justly appropriate. She is represented by Jeff W. Limmer and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
