HOUSTON – A milkshake allegedly riddled with detritus is the subject of a state district personal injury lawsuit filed on Feb. 22.

The plaintiff, Jared Conway, explains in the suit that he bought the concoction in question from a Jack in the Box on Houston’s East End last July 27.

Court papers state that Conway drank the milkshake filled with metal pieces and immediately became ill.

The fast food company is faulted for allowing the drink to be bought and consumed.

Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Jason E. Payne of The Payne Firm, P.C. in Houston.
