HOUSTON – A Houston man claims his visit to a T-Mobile store two years ago resulted in him falling on the floor.

Stanley Smith filed a lawsuit against T-Mobile USA, Inc. in the Harris County 295th District Court on Feb. 22 in response to the incident in question at the telecommunication company’s business at 10961 North Fwy.

Smith says he made a purchase at the store on Feb. 26, 2016 when an employee asked him to have a seat and wait for further service, stating the chair then collapsed underneath him.

The plaintiff reportedly sustained injuries to his body.

T-Mobile is accused of failing to warn Smith about the chair, as well as failing to supervise the employee assisting him.

Consequently, the complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by Cristobal M. Galindo of Houston.
