Man alleges Chevron station owner failed to clean liquid on floor that caused fall

Slip01

HOUSTON – A customer at a Houston gas station alleges he was injured because of a liquid left in the middle of an aisle.

Kevin Sabine filed a complaint on April 5 in the Harris County District Court against Chevron Stations Inc. and Christina Capital Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 20, 2017, he was injured when he slipped and fell on a puddle of liquid at the middle of an aisle at defendants' Chevron gas station in Houston. He alleges he suffered serious injuries that resulted in pain and suffering, mental anguish and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Chevron Stations Inc. and Christina Capital Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to recognize that there was liquid on the floor and failed to timely clean the same.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of no more than $100,000 and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Matthew Zarghouni of Zar Law Firm in Houston.
