Two allege vehicle was totaled after Rose City rear-end collision

Car accident 36

BEAUMONT – Two Orange County individuals allege that their vehicle was totaled after it was rear-ended in Rose City.

Kimberly Duncan and Alexandra Duncan filed a complaint on March 5 in the Jefferson County District Court against Bailey Marie Leblanc and Jerald Paul Leblanc alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on March 13, 2017, their vehicle was rear-ended by defendant Bailey Marie Leblanc as she was driving eastbound on Interstate 10 in Rose City. At the time of the incident, the suit states defendant Bailey Marie Leblanc was driving a 2012 Jeep owned by defendant Jerald Paul Leblanc. As a result, the plaintiffs allege they sustained bodily injuries that needed medical treatment and their car was totaled.

The plaintiffs hold Bailey Marie Leblanc and Jerald Paul Leblanc responsible because Bailey Marie Leblanc allegedly failed to control her speed, failed to maintain a proper lookout and failed to yield right of way.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment in such amounts set out and as the evidence may show proper, together with interest, costs of court, and for such other and further relief, both general and special, at law and in equity may be justly entitled. They are represented by Mark C. Sparks of The Ferguson Law Firm in Beaumont.
