Former manager alleges UZ Marketing failed to pay correct rate for overtime work

HOUSTON – A Houston marketing agency is alleged to have failed to compensate a former manager at the correct rate for overtime work.

Favio Ledezma filed a complaint on April 20 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Quan Inc., doing business as UZ Marketing, and Quan Luu alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was employed by the defendants as a production office manager from 2015 to March 8, 2018, and was paid the same rate for all hours worked regardless of the amount of hours worked.

The plaintiff holds Quan Inc., doing business as UZ Marketing, and Luu responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly compensate him at the required overtime rate

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury, liquidated damages, unpaid overtime wages, costs and attorney's fees. He is represented by Josef F. Buenker and Vijay Pattisapu of The Buenker Law Firm in Houston.
