HOUSTON – A property owner alleges a dishwasher installed by a Harris County business caused a water leak and damaged his property.

Robin Wright filed a complaint on May 25 in the Harris County District Court against Appliance Installations by Special D LLC alleging negligence and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the defendant installed a dishwasher at the plaintiff's house in December 2016. The plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 24, 2017, he discovered a water leak in the kitchen that was later determined to be caused by the improperly installed water line for the dishwasher.

The plaintiff alleges he contacted the defendant to inspect the home and repair the damage but the defendant did not do so.

The plaintiff holds Appliance Installations by Special D LLC responsible because the defendant's alleged improper installation of the dishwasher caused property damage.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for all damages, plus interest, costs and such other and further relief to which he may be entitled. He is represented by Leonid Kishinevsky of The Kishinevsky Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
