HOUSTON – A former employee of a dry goods storage, sale and delivery company alleges he is owed unpaid overtime.

Steven Teran filed a complaint on June 7 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Pete Dimas Enterprises LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that during his employment with the defendant from February 2017 to March 2018 as a warehouse worker, he regularly worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving overtime payment.

The plaintiff holds Pete Dimas Enterprises LLC responsible because despite having knowledge that he worked many more hours of overtime, the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay any overtime beyond 45 hours.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks recover overtime compensation, liquidated damages, costs, and attorney’s fees and any further relief as the court deems just and equitable. He is represented by Josef F. Buenker and Thomas H. Padgett Jr. of The Buenker Law Firm in Houston.
