GALVESTON – A Clear Lake Shores resident alleges a construction company failed to restore her property after a fire.

Verne Lee Nagle filed a complaint on June 8 in the Galveston County District Court against U.S. Construction Services LLC alleging breach of contract, negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff's property was damaged by a fire in May 2016 and hired the defendant to repair and restore the property to its original condition. She alleges she paid $165,000 to the defendant.

The plaintiff alleges the defendant did not repair the property in a good and workmanlike manner and failed to fully restore the property.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which the plaintiff may be justly entitled. The plaintiff is represented by Chad T. Wilson and Nicholas J. Saranto of Chad T. Wilson Law Firm PLLC in Webster.
