HOUSTON – A man alleges he was injured at a Harris County site when a forklift arm caused him to fall.

Jose Carbo filed a complaint on June 13 in the Harris County District Court against Stewart Door LTD alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 10, 2016, he was injured while loading a garage door on a truck when he tripped over a forklift arm at the defendant's premises and fell. He alleges he suffered personal injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain and suffering, disfigurement and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Stewart Door LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly contributed to a dangerous and unsafe workplace and failed to warn of hazards.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other and further relief to which he may show himself justly entitled. He is represented by Kevin Daley and Gilbert Garza of Adley Law Firm LTD LLP in Houston.
