HOUSTON – A man alleges a transparent boundary at the NRG Center in Harris County caused him to fall and dislocate his shoulder.

Giovanni Rodriguez filed a complaint on June 18 in the Harris County District Court against Harris County Sports & Convention Corp., et al. alleging breach of duty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 24, he paid a fee of $24 to attend the Houston Auto Show at defendants' NRG Center. While walking near the Alfa Romeo display, the suit states he fell over a transparent raised boundary. He alleges he sustained right-proximal humerus fractures and a dislocated shoulder as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Harris County Sports & Convention Corp., et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently erected transparent boundaries the posed an unreasonable risk of harm.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Robert Prim and April Prim of Prim & Prim PLLC in The Woodlands.
