HOUSTON – A Harris County woman has pursued legal action over home improvements purportedly gone wrong.

Pam Moore’s lawsuit alleges MaxHome, LLC installed a covered patio addition which would leak during rain. Moore subsequently requested that this condition be repaired.

Court documents filed on June 27 in the Harris County 295th District Court say MaxHome attempted to several repairs, “but then abandoned the project.”

“The patio cover still leaks, and still must be replaced,” the suit says.

The complaint lists Temo, Inc. as a co-defendant because it supposedly issued a written warranty for the work done by MaxHome.

Consequently, Moore seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Andrew E. Lemanski of Houston is representing the plaintiff.
