BEAUMONT – A guest at a Jefferson County business alleges he was injured in a fall caused by a pile of concrete in the parking lot.

Timothy Getzlaff filed a complaint on July 9 in the Jefferson County District Court against Sun Travel Motorcoach and RV alleging premises liability.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 17, 2017, he was injured at defendant's parking lot when he tripped and fell over a 3-inch high pile of concrete that was left in the lot. He alleges he suffered injuries resulting in pain and suffering, loss of income and mental anguish as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff holds Sun Travel Motorcoach and RV responsible because despite actual knowledge of the concrete hazard, the defendant allegedly failed to repair the dangerous condition and failed to provide adequate warning of its existence.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief between $500,000 and $1 million. He is represented by John S. Morgan of Morgan Law Firm in Beaumont.
