BEAUMONT – A Dollar General shopper alleges water left on the floor at the store caused her to fall.

Althea Wilson filed a complaint on July 25 in the Jefferson County District Court against Dollar General Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 23, 2016, she was shopping at defendant's Dollar General store in Nederland when she slipped and fell because of water on the floor. She alleges sustained injuries resulting in medical expenses, mental anguish, loss of earnings and physical impairment as a result of the fall.
