HOUSTON – An international flight between the U.S. and Turkey two years ago reportedly resulted in injuries and litigation for a female passenger, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Magdoline Hammad is suing Turk Hava Yollari, A.O., doing business as Turkish Airlines, in the Harris County 270th District Court, claiming a beverage cart injured her while she was aboard the defendant’s flight from Istanbul to Houston on Aug. 6, 2016.

The suit, which was filed on July 25, asserts that a flight attendant left the cart unsecured and unattended in front of Hammad’s suit. Turbulence caused the cart to tip over and land on the plaintiff, court documents say.

Consequently, Hammad seeks unspecified monetary damages.

She is represented by J. Robert Black of Black Law, P.C. in Houston.
