HOUSTON – Harris County resident Sebastian Watson has filed a lawsuit against Super 1 Road Services, Inc. after allegedly suffering on the job burns, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Watson’s suit, which was filed on July 26 in the Harris County 215th District Court, says Super 1 instructed the plaintiff to use a blowtorch to cut apart a truck at a jobsite last April.

“While performing his work, a fire ignited, causing severe burn injuries to Mr. Watson’s arm and face,” the original petition says.

It asserts the respondent “knowingly disregarded its duty to ensure safe work practices.”

Consequently, Watson seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by J. Moises Cedillos of the Cedillos Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.
