Ex-CEO sues to recoup severance benefits

HOUSTON – The former CEO of Industrial Services Holdings, LLC has sued the company in an effort to recover his severance benefits, recent Harris County District Court records show.

Mark Bryan Neas initiated legal action alleging breach of contract in the Harris County 113th District Court on Aug. 2.

Neas headed ISH from June 10, 2016 to Mar. 20 earlier this year. His lawsuit asserts that he and the defendant entered into an employment agreement in which he was entitled to the benefits in question immediately after termination.

ISH reportedly terminated Neas without cause, as defined in the agreement, the suit says.

According to Neas, the respondent “has failed and refused, without lawful excuse,” to give him his severance package, which purportedly is more than $1 million.

He additionally seeks a declaratory judgment.

David L. Bryant of the law firm GableGotwals in Boerne is representing the plaintiff.
